If you want to skip this interesting, eccentric synopsis of me, skip to the page's end and see what I have to say. You should read this, though; you could find something you like! Now that we've passed the dull parts, here's who I actually am. Hello, my name is Timothy Ludwig. You can call me Tim or Timmy, if you like. I love to learn and I've found that the best teachers are the ones that seem "crazy" about their subject(s). Academically, I'm an oddball, graduating University a week after my 20th birthday. In my time as a student I learned many useful and useless things, but in my short time as a human being I can honestly say that every lesson I've learned molds the world I see. In other words, I'm never done growing. I teach kids (5th grade) at the moment. They are AWESOME. I treat them like miniature adults and in return expect they act like decent people. I'm not stuffy and mean like too many teachers out there. Often times, when they get out of hand, all I need to say is "Chill out!" and they listen. I like being patient. Every now and then the hammer of the needs to drop. It provides perspective for all parties involved. For years now, I've been an Olympic style archer, coach, and judge. Yes, it's a strange hobby, but my family is deeply rooted in the Olympic level Archery community. Naturally, that includes me. It's an excellent sport for a kid not overly interested in Lacrosse or Football; like Golf, but better. I actually spent this past summer at a prestigious summer camp in Maine directing their Archery program. I'll return next summer as well; it was that cool. Being disorganized at University is something we've all been through. We try, but fail at organization. It's an age-borne illness called being a kid. I'm still a kid, however, I've been dropped into the real world early and have cultivated organizational and reasoning skills belonging to someone a few years my senior. This means, I won't forget about stuff or flake out. Strangely, I can survive in the wilderness. This is something I've learned from years of being a boy, having Uncles, and camping. I can teach people to live in the wild under difficult, but not life threatening conditions. I'm not sure why I felt like sharing that, but it's a neat skill to have. There are millions of things I could tell you to make you feel comfortable about hiring me as a tutor, but you make the choice. And you will choose best. That being said, these are some random things I enjoy: Ping-Pong, Darts, Chess, Bacon, Rock Climbing, Bocce, Calvin and Hobbes, Fashion, Backpacking, Writing, Dogs, Guitar, A good steak, etc. Basically, I'm qualified, experienced, and excellent at what I do. I won't pretend to do something I can't/don't do. Finally, I'm no boring lump on a log. Honest.
